HRZN is a product operated by Acer Holdings LLC ("Acer Holdings," "HRZN," "we," "us," or "our"). HRZN is an AI-powered business intelligence tool for businesses of all types. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Your business data (sales figures, labor costs, menu performance, etc.) belongs to you. We use it solely to provide you with the HRZN service. We do not:
We may use anonymized, aggregated data (containing no personally identifiable information and not attributable to any individual business) to improve HRZN and to compute the industry benchmarks we show across the business categories we support, including restaurants, retail, e-commerce, and service businesses.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption, and we implement HTTPS across all connections. We use the following infrastructure providers to operate HRZN:
When you upload a CSV or connect a point-of-sale integration, the resulting business data is transmitted to and stored on our servers (Supabase) so that it is available across your devices and sessions. Some data may additionally be cached in your browser's local storage to improve performance; this cache is not a substitute for, and does not replace, the copy stored on our servers.
No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
When you connect a third-party service, you authorize HRZN to access the data that service provides. HRZN requests read-only access to your point-of-sale data. We never create, modify, or delete any data in your connected accounts, and we never process, initiate, or modify payments.
Clover. If you connect Clover, HRZN requests read-only permission to the following, and uses each only to generate your analytics:
Square. If you connect Square, HRZN requests the equivalent read-only scopes (MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ, ORDERS_READ, PAYMENTS_READ, ITEMS_READ) and uses them for the same purposes.
You may disconnect any integration at any time from the Data Sources page in HRZN. Disconnecting revokes our access token and stops further syncing.
AI processing. HRZN uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate the plain-English insights, reports, and recommendations you see in the product. To do this, we send relevant business metrics derived from your data (for example: revenue totals, average check, labor and cost percentages, item performance, and payment mix) to Anthropic for processing. We do not send your customers' personal information. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf as a service provider and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data, and we encourage you to review them.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Uploaded business data (CSV files) stored in browser local storage can be deleted at any time from the Settings page.

HRZN uses minimal cookies and browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as dark/light mode and your selected data source). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
